Reel House respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement.
Our position on content
Reel House is a metadata catalog. It does not host movie files. Poster images, when shown, are either generated artwork, public reference images, or loaded from TMDB when an API key is configured. Titles and descriptions are used for identification and discovery only.
Filing a copyright notice
If you believe material on a live deployment of this site infringes your copyright, send a notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- The exact URL or location of the allegedly infringing material
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act
Where to send notices
Use the Contact form with topic “Copyright / DMCA”, or replace this placeholder with your real copyright email before production use.
Counter-notice
If material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice with your contact details, identification of the material, a good-faith statement, consent to jurisdiction, and your signature.
Repeat infringers
We may remove listings or terminate access for users who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights where that is feasible on a live deployment.
